1.  Ceramic Polymers

  • The Ceramic Polymer GmbH produces high-performance coatings with integrated micro ceramic particles for different fields of application. The properties of the ceramic – chemical resistance, abrasion resistance and weathering stability – justify the high quality of our coating systems. By extra integration of microscopic special particles, we generate coating products which provide the highest protection properties.

4.  Rubberizing

  • The machine is not only meant for the rubberizing of bakkie linings, but can also be used on various other surfaces such as steel, wood, aluminum, fiberglass, concrete etc. Therefore, almost anything that you need waterproofed, can be done with a polyurethane spray on lining.

5.  Pipe Wrapping

  • SPEC Corrosion Protection offers a complete pipe wrapping service.

Services includes:

  • Application Areas:
       o  Pipelines in tunnel systems 
       o  Pipes in open air areas (UV) 
       o  Pipe specials

 

  • Contracts undertaken to date include:

      o  Removal of old epoxy tar on pipeline and applying Denso wrapping                        system including a final coating system

       o  800NB pipeline Denso wrapped after applying an epoxy coating                            system. These pipes were welded together, welded area repaired                          and then buried in the ground (Cathodic Protected).

       o  Any type of pipe specials for various purposes (buried, in valve                              chambers or in open air) and various clients

6.  Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE)

  • Oven size of 6m long x 2.4m wide x 2.1m high and other smaller ones

  • SPEC is an approved applicator of FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy)

  • The coating is applied using the electrostatic method and gives a seamless coating between 250µm and 500µm thick. It is applied to any metallic object which will accept pre-heat treatment of 200-300°C.

  •  Available Facilities:

       Ovens: 6m long x 2.4m wide x 2.1m high and other smaller ones

       Electrostatic spray equipment

  • Applications:

       o  Corrosion protection

       o  Abrasion protection

       o  Chemical resistance

       o  Petrochemical industry

       o  Electrical insulation

       o  Internationally used to protect pumps, valves, pipe fittings,                                      automotive components, food and beverage equipment, etc.
